I survived October!

I can’t believe it. I’m sitting here reflecting, and I’m amazed and grateful to say I’ve survived October with only a few minor scrapes and bruises.

The last week of October was packed to the brim, but amazing. Here are some awesome moments:

Then, Thursday, I was able to perform in a poetry reading at Actor’s Theater of Louisville and got to see my dear pal Ron Whitehead for a while, which was awesome. I hadn’t seen him in a long time.

Friday night, I got to perform at Psychomania Haunted House with Darshwood the Conjuror and Shawna the Dead, human pin cushion courtesy of 4th St Dental…best thing of the night was getting to watch people run screaming from the exits of the haunts.

All day saturday, I was on hand at the site of the painting of the peace mural I helped to organize. Thanks to Kenn Parks for asking me to get involved.  The intent of all involved and the School of Metaphysics, who set the ball in motion, is to create a constant communication of peace to the surrounding area. It is as beautiful as the many souls who helped to make it happen. Video coming soon.

Then Halloween night, I rushed over to host Sub Rosa. It was a lot of fun with some fun surprises. At the end of the night, I got to experience an amazing and deep conversation with a lady on her own spiritual journey :D . Who says bars can’t produce a great setting for transformation?

With the close of October, I’ve found myself pretty on target with what I had hoped for. I’m mostly settled in to the new place and ready to begin the in depth development of Diaries of a Godling. With a hope to open in January, I’m going to have to stay really focused.

With so much going on, it’s easy to let my focus slip to what I want to happen. I am so grateful to be surrounded by beautiful people that remind me that I want my focus to be on the kind of person I want to be first, and what I want second.

More than anything, October was a bountiful month that proved time and time again just how blessed I am and the power of miracles.

Thank you all for the shining reflection that you show me :)
