Thank you to all of you who have created a flood of birthday wishes! October 14 is Day of the Theater! Go figure! A very cool birthday gift, Cody and I have moved into a new place that needs a little work, so for those of you who asked what I want for my birthday, I say “prayer for extra elbow grease” and for everyone to take a moment to send love, respect, and gratitude to the woman who brought me into this world,(for it is not easy to birth a force of nature), for the families who cared for me (for it’s even harder to contain one), and take a moment also to give love, respect and gratitude to the countless souls who contributed in raising me… (including yourselves).

Today is my birthday…

my.. birth… day… my day of birth…what i mean to say is
the day I separated and became an individual representation…

the day my imagined likeness came into view….

the day…well, i guess the day I became new.

but that’s every day….

So I guess any day, it could be true that
Today is my birthday

And the best gift of all is sitting here in the middle of the night, exhausted but unable to sleep because I am looking around at all the art and cds and videos I have gotten from local lovers over the last year at Sub Rosa, and thinking of all the spirits who have supported me online, and I am struck with awe at how I am surrounded by so many amazing and shining hearts, dreams unfolding, beautiful people, tall tales, talent gone wild….I’d have to say I’m probably one of the wealthiest people alive. <3 You all fill me with such joy, I feel like my heart might pop, or I might start humping random objects. I think this is how the orgy was invented.
